Mac-Mod Fortis Cyano, 100 A, 3 um 2.0 x 10 mm Guard Cartridges (2/pk)
Fortis HPLC and UHPLC columns are packed with 100 A high-surface area silica-based columns designed with optimized bonding chemistries for uniform ligand coverage. This proprietary process improves method development and improves LCMS sensitivity by eluting compounds in higher organic mobile phases, as well as when scaling to preparative separation elutions in higher organic leads to quicker dry-down times. C18, C8, Diphenyl, H2o, Cyano and Amino bonded phases are all available on 1.7, 3, 5 and 10 um particle sizes. HILIC and DIOL phases are also available in the Fortis HILIC range. Fortis columns are available in a wide range of column IDs and column lengths including 75 micron, 200 micron, 2.1, 3.0, 4.6, 10 and 21.2 mm ID columns other column IDs and lengths available upon request. Guard columns are available and require guard holder DCGUA1.

These Guard Column Cartridges are packed with 3µm, Cogent RP C18 PE™ Stationary Phase. Double end capped (fully), it is bonded with an 18 carbon aliphatic hydrocarbon, with an Amide group embedded in the middle of the ligand, using the highest purity silica available.Designed to protect your 2.1mm ID, RP C18 PE, Analytical Columns from particulate and contaminants that will adsorb to it. They are packed in Stainless Steel Tubes and have Stainless Steel Frits that are pressed into PEEK Frit Caps. These Guard Column Cartridges must be used with a Guard Column Holder.

GP-C8 phase is synthesized with monomeric and fully endcapped chemistry. The uniform octyl stationary phase allows high efficiency with lower hydrophobicity compared to ODS phase. GP-C8 phase is suitable for separating compounds with a wide range of hydrophobicity. It is highly recommended for separating the compounds which are too strongly retained on C18 phases.
